Generally, ESC-US affiliates meet each year to share best practices in engaging skilled volunteers, learn about new programs that are showing great results and to learn from the experiences of our peers across America.

As is always the custom, all attendees share their Points of Pride for the Year and do a deep dive into the annual statistical reports that describe the activities of the network each year. The annual conference provides that very rare and valuable opportunity to rethink your work with people with whom you have shared aspirations, who use similar tools, and who are operating in a common context. Over decades of service these national gatherings have allowed good ideas and models to be replicated while allowing each ESC-US affiliate to reflect the needs and culture of their own community.
